Now that summer is definitely up and running (hello first heatwave!) the same goes for breeding season. All foals are finding their place in the herd and the first mares are already back in foal for season 2026 :

Foal #2 : Violet T - Romantico x Asca Z

Foal #3 : Vinicius T - Cero Blue TN x Cornet Obolensky

Foal #4 : Jack Daniels T - Jaguar vd Berghoeve x Andiamo

Foal #5 : Viv T - Romantico x Charthago Blue

Both Romantico foals did not disappoint and shown to be well modelled.  Our second Jaguar-foal is not as luxuriours as last year’s full brother but makes up to that with an exceptional gallop! The Cero Blue foal tends towards the same direction showing off a sporty-mentality. Last but not least it’s our firstborn who’s the real eyecatcher: Vik is already giving off real stallion-vibes.

 Two mares are now confirmed for next year:  youngster Coralie T (Chopano VA) is covered by O-Chacco DDH. Second one is all-timer Cela Vita (Cornet Obolensky) covered by promising talent Uranus van ’t Zorgvliet. Hopefully in the next few days/weeks we will have more confirmed mares to share.

Summerseason is just getting started and already we have a lot of T-horses to show off with:

We lost of track of 10 year old Pistache T DVE (Ermitage) but now she is back on our radar. Since 3 months Pistache is part of team Dutch Valley Equestrian and being ridden by Dennis Caubergs. Seems like this girl definitely found her place because she debuted on 1.40 with a very solid clear round. We’ll try not to loose her out of our sight this time so we can keep on cheering.

Another horse that was out of sight is 5 year old Archie T (Asca Z).  In 2023 this eyecatcher was approved for Studbook Zangersheide and right after sold at their auction to no less than Max Kühner & Christian Ahlmann. Now Archie had found his way to the show grounds, still with some rough patches but showing a lot of potential.

Regular reference Arthur T (Andiamo) opened his summer season in Stadl-Paura (AUT). Year after year this 7 year old keeps improving and this year is no exception. NRPS-approved Arthur made his debut on 1.35 level in the CSI*YH with very steady rounds close to perfection.

Last but not last Romantico can show of his breeding-reference with the birth of his first offspring. Violet T is a well modelled, strong filly with a nice height. Mother to Violet is Annelotte T, a full sister of Archie T.

With the birth of the first foal we are slowly stepping out of our winter hibernation, time for a winter recap :

We said goodbye to two of our horses: Amanda T by Aganix du Seigneur was sold at I Love Auction and stays in Belgium. Raptor ADC, our stallion prospect, was sold and could already be seen with his new rider in the Belgian Stallion competition. Raptor delivered 2/2 clear rounds and is aspiring to be approved by BWP.

Out with the old and in with the new because we welcomed filly Upgrade in our barn. ‘Uppie’ was born in 2024 and is by Andiamo. Mother Sanna (Peter Pan x Concorde) has no less then 4 halfbrothers and sisters jumping at 160 level.

During winter one of our breedingsproducts stepped up and into the spotlight: 7 year old Rammstein T by Andiamo out of Cela Vita (Cornet Obolensky) is jumping the youth circuit with his 14 year old rider Adam Goszczynski competing for Poland. In the december this perfect duo took home the win in the 130 CSI* GP of Poznan and last week they jumped their first 135 with one minor mistake. Definitely a pair to keep an eye on!

Another longtime Tommelberg-horse is Reginald. After a little winterdip and a short rider-switch due to pregnancy he is back full on track. Last week Regi headed over to Germany and he prooved to be his old self back delivering three rounds straight from the book.

A year after Romantico was bought at the KWPN Select Sale he could return to ’s Hertogenbosch as a KWPN approved stallion. Romantico, by Grandorado TN, did an exhibition round for future breeders with live comment of the KWPN stallion jury. This cool youngster didn’t even blink an eye in this impressive setting and did what he had to do, showing off his great character, balance and handiness. For season 2025 Romantico will be avaible with fresh semen at Hengstenhouderij Brouwers.

The latest update in our barn (and most spring-themed) is the birth of the first 2025 foal: Vik T. Vik is by Mindset ES out of Qaroline V (Nabab de Reve) and seems to be a very strong and well modelled foal. Qaroline V is only part of our breedingsquad since last year and this is the first offspring she’s given us. Her oldest son, Warando V by Emerald (2022), was sold last month on Horse Auction Belgium for 34K to the UK. Half brother, White Sox V by El Barone 111, jumped in the spotlight on the BWP stallion approvals. He is through to the final selection ánd found a new owner in Karel Cox.
