Reginald jumped his first international show of the year at JV-Horses Wuustwezel. Ridden by Paige Jacobs of Protea Stables he competed in the international 6 year old classes.
On aswell Thursday as Friday he jumped easy double clear rounds in both two fase specials. On Saturday Reginald started well prepared on the finals over a height of 125. In the beautiful big arena this black beauty was fully appreciated and his potential was utilized to the max.
The first round was clear again (for the third day in a
row!) so Reginald could line up for the jump-off
together with 10 other combinations. They started of
strong but a little hesitation in one of the turns resulted
in one fault and a 7th place.
A very succesful showweekend for this 6 year old
gelding where he showed again a lot of growth,
confidence, power and most of all, eagerness to jump.
On of our references, 9 year old Olala, has popped op on our radar again.
Olala is now under the care of Mathieu Billot and in the past months this brand new pair got to know each other during some national shows. In the beginning of April they showed to definitely have a connection with a first win in the 135 atNotre Dame d'Estrées.
The past weekend this fierce mare made her international debut with her new rider in the CSI*3 of Canteleu. On Sunday they jumped the GP 155 which resulted in an impressive clear round and 15th place.
We are very curious to discover what more this mare is capable of and wish her new rider all the luck!
This weekend all eyes were focused on Sentower Park were the Zangersheide International was held, the new concept combined a CSI4* with the Zangersheide Stallion Approval.
Stud Tommelberg was represented by Archie T, a 3 year old stallion prospect by Asca Z x Diamant de Semilly. Archie jumped flawless two days in a row showing beautiful moves on the jump and effortless athletic skills. All this combined with stunning looks and an excellent pedigree were more than enough to convince the jury and Archie can now be called an approved stallion.
As if this wasn’t enough highlight for one day Archie was also selected for the auction. We are very proud to see Archie leaving to an absolute top stable where he will hopefully get all the chances in both breeding and sport.
As breeders this is definitely a day to remember and to cherish and we are more than gratefull for the cooperation we have with Protea Stables in training and preparing our youngsters.

Four year old Thor T by Naxcel V seems to be at the start of a very promising career.
After a false start at the approvals last year Thor took revenge by gaining his approval for studbook AES at the beginning of 2023. He was presented under the saddle where he showed a lot of potential and great rideability
His approval made it possible to participate in the Lannoo Belgian Stallion Compition and Thor is nailing it! The first two parts (from a total of 4 shows) have passed and Thor is in the leas with zero faults. He is jumping every round round effortless and easy without hesitation.
Thor is bred out of Hamira de Laubry (Diamant de Semilly) and is living proof of the quality this mare produces. For 2023 we are expecting 2 foals out of Hamira: one by Comilfo Plus Z and one by Spitfire V who is closely related to Naxcel V.
